Laurie Jennings and Dana Keller, acoustic duo from Miami, Florida, bring their award-winning blend of folk, fusion, and Americana music to the North Bend Public Library on Wednesday, July 15, at 7:00 pm. This free event is part of the Oregon Coast Music Festival, and is made possible by the Friends of the North Bend Public Library. The group was a huge hit at the Oregon Coast Music Festival in a concert held at the library in 2012. Laurie Jennings Oudin is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and former Shakespearean actress. Her compelling voice is a perfect match for Dana Kellers’ remarkable playing of acoustic guitars, dobros, and the pedal steel guitar. Dana Keller has performed on stage or in the studio with such luminaries as Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Stevie Wonder, Larry Graham, Marvin Gaye, Johnny Rodriquez, and the Allmann Brothers. Keller has opened for Gordon Lightfoot and Waylon Jennings. Jennings and Keller have also opened for Lucy Kaplansky, David Roth, The Guess Who, and other well-known performers. This program is free and open to the public. For more information about Jennings and Keller, go to www.JenningsandKeller.com or call the library at 541-756-0400.
