Just Posted: Flu Bites Report for Week 50, December 6th – December 12th, 2020 – Summary: During Week 50, 1.1% of all emergency department visits in Oregon were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). Among Oregon labs reporting to the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) and the state health department, 0.2% of specimens tested were positive for influenza. No influenza-related hospitalizations were reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. 130 COVID-19-related hospitalizations were reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area.
