Just Posted: Flu Bites Report for Week 51, December 13 – December 19, 2020 – Summary: During Week 51, 0.9% of all emergency department visits in Oregon were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). Among Oregon labs reporting to the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) and the state health department, <0.1% of specimens tested were positive for influenza. No influenza-related hospitalizations were reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. 132 COVID-19-related hospitalizations were reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. No influenza outbreaks were reported.
