Just Posted: Flu Bites Report for Week 03, January 17- January 23, 2021 – Summary: During Week 03, 0.6% of all emergency department visits in Oregon were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). Among Oregon labs reporting to the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) and the state health department, less than 0.1% of specimens tested were positive for influenza. No influenza-related hospitalization was reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. 63 COVID-19-related hospitalizations were reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area.
