Just Posted: Flu Bites Report for Week 7, February 10 – February 16, 2019 – Summary: During Week 7, 3.2% of all emergency department visits in Oregon were due to influenza-like illness (ILI). Among Oregon labs reporting to the National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) and the state health department, 27.5% of specimens tested were positive for influenza. There were 87 influenza-related hospitalizations reported during the week in the Portland tri-county metropolitan area. There were 13 influenza outbreaks reported.
