No. 15 Oregon improved to 9-0 this season with a come-from-behind win over Illinois Saturday night at the Moda Center in Portland, 71-64.  The Ducks had to rally from a nine-point deficit in the second half to win the non-conference men’s game on the neutral court.

Jillian Alleyne recorded her 18th career double-double and sixth of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds as Oregon ran past in-state foe Portland State, 113-78, on Saturday afternoon at Matthew Knight Arena.  Oregon (6-2) has won four straight games since losing at No. 1 ranked UConn on Nov. 20.

Freshman Sydney Wiese scored 12 first-half points, sophomore Jamie Weisner followed with 15 of her own in the second half and the Oregon State women’s basketball team (6-2) hit on 10 of its 16 3-point attempts to beat Hawai’i, 76-64, in Gill Coliseum on Friday night.

Devon Collier recorded a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds and Roberto Nelson added 20 points as Oregon State (5-2) prevailed over Maryland Eastern Shore, 98-66, on Sunday afternoon at Gill Coliseum.  Collier dominated inside for the Beavers, shooting 10-of-16 from the field and posting his ninth career double-double and fourth this season. This marks the fifth straight game that the big man has scored 20 points or more. Collier also added four assists to his impressive stat sheet.
