With representatives of the Alamo Bowl in attendance Friday night in Eugene, Oregon beat in-state rival Oregon State 36-35, in the 117th Civil War football game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.  With the win, the Ducks (10-2) record ten victories in the 2013 season, their sixth straight ten win season, and the sixth straight time Oregon has beaten the Beavers (6-6).

Oregon’s volleyball team made it a clean Civil War sweep on Friday in Eugene.  The Ducks (19-11, 12-8 Pac-12) beat rival Oregon State (9-22, 0-20 Pac-12) 3-1 (25-13, 25-16, 21-25, 25-15) to end the Pac-12 regular season.

The Oregon women’s volleyball team (19-11, 12-8 Pac-12) was selected into the NCAA tournament with an at-large berth for the seventh time in the past eight years, Sunday. The Ducks will head to Lincoln, Neb. to face Miami, Friday, Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m. PT. If they advance the Ducks will see either No. 8 Nebraska or Fairfield in the second round, Saturday.  Oregon has never faced Miami (19-11, 12-8) in the program’s history. The Hurricanes finished fourth in the ACC, a conference which received four tournament bids, and will head to the dance for its fifth-straight season.

The Oregon State wrestling team fell to No. 2/3 Minnesota 28-12 on Saturday evening in Corvallis, after coming within two points after the sixth bout.  The Beavers return to Gill on December 20th as they host Wyoming.

Joseph Young scored 23 points and No. 14 Oregon remained perfect this season with a 91-76 victory over North Dakota on Saturday in the Global Sports Hardwood Challenge.  The Ducks improved to 6-0, extending their best start since opening the 2006-07 season with 13 straight wins.  The Ducks opened up the tournament with an 85-62 victory over Pacific on Friday. North Dakota fell 70-43 to Cal Poly on Friday.  The Oregon men’s basketball team is about to take its act on the road. It will do so feeling ever so cautiously optimistic about its progress so far.  The Ducks won for the third time in three days Sunday, knocking off Cal Poly in the final game of the Global Sports Hardwood Challenge at Matthew Knight Arena, 82-61. Ranked No. 14 entering the event, Oregon stands a chance of finding itself ranked ahead of the No. 12 football team this week, for the first time since November 2007.

The Oregon women’s basketball team (4-2) used a 40-20 run in the last 12 minutes of the game en route to a 110-90 victory over Princeton on Sunday afternoon at Matthew Knight Arena. Five Ducks reached double figures in the comeback win.

Jamie Weisner scored 26 points and Oregon State shot over 42 percent from 3-point range, but Florida took its first lead late in the game and was able to hold off the Oregon State women’s basketball team, 73-70, at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas on Saturday. Oregon State (4-2) will return to the States for its first true road game next Friday, Dec. 6 when the Beavers travel to the Chiles Center for a matchup with Portland at 7 p.m.

Devon Collier scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but Oregon State (3-2) couldn’t hold off the hot shooting of DePaul on Sunday afternoon at Allstate Arena in a 93-81 loss that snapped a three-game winning streak.  Roberto Nelson finished with 19 points, going 8-of-13 from the field, and became the 20th player in Oregon State history to reach the 1,200-point mark.
