Oregon State fell at home Saturday night to No. 6 Stanford 22-25, 23-25, 20-25. The Beavers (9-18, 0-16 Pac-12) next play at Colorado Friday and Utah Sunday.

The Oregon women’s cross country team was one of 13 squads extended an at-large bid for the NCAA Championships Saturday. The NCAA Championships will be held next Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind. The Duck women are the defending NCAA Champions. The 15th-ranked Ducks finished third in Friday’s NCAA West Regional behind Arizona and Stanford. The Duck men earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships by placing second at the NCAA West Regional on Friday. With three of its five scorers posting 6,000-meter PR’s, the Oregon State women’s cross country team ran to a 15th-place finish out of 32 squads at the 2013 NCAA Cross Country West Regional Championships in Sacramento, Calif. on Friday afternoon. The Beavers were led by Kinsey Gomez, who finished 47th overall with a time of 20:42.

Oregon State beat visiting Sacramento State 102-80 in a women’s non-conference basketball game Friday in Corvallis. The Beavers (3-0) host Loyola Marymount Thursday. Oregon’s women lost to Sacramento State Sunday in Eugene, 97-85. On Wednesday, the Ducks (2-1) play at No. 1 Connecticut. With President Barack Obama, The First Family and 14,772 others in attendance, Oregon State marched to victory over Maryland, 90-83, at the Comcast Center Sunday night, marking the first time the Beavers have defeated an ACC team on the road in school history. Oregon State (2-1) returns to the floor of Gill Coliseum on Tuesday, Nov. 26 against SIU-Edwardsville at 8 p.m. in the 4th Annual Nike N7 game.

The Oregon State wrestling team wrapped up the Eastern Michigan University Duals with victories over Michigan State (29-9), Northern Illinois (27-9), and Central Michigan (22-13), establishing a 3-0 start to the season. The Beavers then fell to No. 14 Michigan 20-12 on Sunday after 10 close bouts. Oregon State heads home 4-1 on the weekend. The Beavers return to Corvallis Nov. 24 as they host Boise State in their home opener.
