ROSEBURG, Ore. – The Oregon Recreational Trails Advisory Council (ORTAC) will meet 1 – 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Roseburg Public Library, Deer Creek Room, 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd, Roseburg. The meeting is open to the public. The agenda includes program updates and recommendations to appoint new and returning members to the Council. View a PDF of the full agenda online. ORTAC was established by the Legislature in 1971 to advise Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) and its partners in the development and promotion of high quality non-motorized trail systems throughout Oregon. The council is made up of seven volunteer members: one representative from each of the five congressional districts and two coastal representatives. Members are appointed by the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Commission. The council holds quarterly meetings in different locations across the state.
