NBPL release – On Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 PM, the Museum of Natural and Cultural History will be at the North Bend Public Library to present the program “Oregon Rocks!” The program includes a 20-minute interactive presentation given by a museum educator followed by time spent engaging in fun, hands-on activities and touchable specimens. During the program, children will learn about rocks, fossils, earthquakes, and volcanoes and will discover the dynamic forces that have shaped Oregon’s landscape over time. The program is designed for families with elementary-age children and is part of the NBPL’s Summer Reading Program.
