Junior forward Jarmal Reid led Oregon State with 10 points and eight rebounds on Thursday night but the Beavers fell 56-43 to Washington in a Pacific-12 Conference game at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, WA. Washington (12-4, 1-3) used an 8-0 run to erase a 29-28 deficit with 13:11 to play to break open a close game and take the lead for good. OSU (11-5, 2-2 Pac-12) never got closer than three points thereafter and saw its two-game overall and Pac-12 winning streak come to an end. The Beavers conclude their first Pac-12 road trip at 6 p.m. Saturday against Washington State in Pullman. The game will be televised by Pac-12 Networks.

Josh Hawkinson recorded 26 points and 13 rebounds to carry Washington State to a 108-99 overtime win over Oregon on Thursday night in Pullman, WA. DaVonte Lacy scored 20 for the Cougars (9-7, 3-1 Pac-12). Ike Iroegbu added 20, and Brett Boese had 16 in WSU coach Ernie Kent’s first game against the school that fired him in 2010. Joseph Young led Oregon (12-5, 2-2) with 32 points, tying his season high. Elgin Cook scored a career-high 26 points for Oregon, and his 10 rebounds led the Ducks. Oregon plays at Washington in Seattle Sunday, 5:30 p.m.

Oregon’s women host Washington, 8 p.m., tonight, in the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene for a Pac-12 basketball game. On Sunday, the Ducks host Washington State at 1 p.m. Oregon State hosts Washington State Friday, 6 p.m., in Gill Coliseum at Corvallis. The Beavers host Washington on Monday, 5 p.m.
