Senior Dani Gilmore and junior Sammi Noland both homered, but the Oregon State softball team dropped a slugfest 17-11 to No. 20 Washington Monday afternoon in the Northwest Rivalry Series presented by Alaska Airlines. The Beavers will play their final regular season series of 2015 next weekend when they head south to take on San Diego State.

Oregon plays at Oregon State in Corvallis tonight, 6 p.m., for game two of their baseball Civil War contest. The Ducks won the first meeting in Eugene.
