KJ Harrison, Drew Rasmussen and Mitch Hickey were all named to Louisville Slugger’s Freshman All-America team on Wednesday as announced by Collegiate Baseball. The three mark a single-season high for Oregon State, which last had multiple players named Freshman All-America in 2012 with Michael Conforto and Jace Fry. The three also compromise nearly half the players selected from the Pac-12 Conference as the league had eight overall. For Harrison and Rasmussen, it is the second time in as many weeks they’ve been recognized with a postseason honor. Harrison was named the Pac-12’s Freshman of the Year and a First-Team All-League honoree last week.
