DUII
A search for an alleged intoxicated driver May 29, 8:13 p.m., led to an arrest at a residence in Bandon.  According to an Oregon State Police report, the listed registered owner of the suspect vehicle reported he had sold it.  “Through several phone calls, I identified the current owner.  I learned the suspect had associates in Bandon.”  Thirty-six year old Benjamin Martinez Garcia, Coquille, failed a Field Sobriety Test and was arrested on a DUII charge.  He was transported to Bandon PD, cited and released to a sober adult.

Falsified Records
According to an OSP report for May 31, 8:37 a.m., Bandon Pacific Fish Plant, “inspection of Commercial Pink Shrimp landings and records at the Bandon Pacific Fish Plant revealed falsified records on the size of Commercial Pink Shrimp recorded.  The Dock Manager was cited and released for Falsifying Commercial Fishing Report.”  Fifty-five year old Roy Thomas Wright, Bandon, cited.

DUII
According to an OSP report for June 2, 8:40 p.m., Hwy. 101, milepost 245, a white Chevrolet Astro, stopped for poor driving, led to a DUII arrest.  Fifty-two year old Wayne Norman Barber Jr., Coos Bay, “showed signs and symptoms of impairment.”  He consented to and failed a Field Sobriety Test.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille for a breath sample and then released to jail staff.

Spotted
An observant Oregon State Police trooper “observed a wanted person standing in front of the Empire 7-Eleven,” June 2, 2:49 a.m., in Coos Bay.  According to an OSP report, 34-year old Timothy John Machado, Lakeside, was taken into custody on a warrant and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Warrant
A reported disturbance at a trailer park on Wildwood Road June 4, 8:26 a.m., north of North Bend, led to an arrest.  According to an OSP report, 73-year old Ronald Lee Weekly, Coquille, “was found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Linn County.  The warrant was confirmed and he was arrested.  The suspect complained of medical issues during transit to the Coos County Jail, EMS was summoned and he was transported to Bay Area Hospital.  The suspect was issued a criminal citation and released on scene before being transported to the hospital.”
