Release from MHS Athletic Director Greg Mulkey, Co-Chair of the 3A Tournament Committee: “Marshfield and North Bend High Schools along with our communities are excited to host the 3A OSAA Boys and Girls State Basketball Tournament for our thirteenth year in a row set for February 29-March 2. We are fortunate to have a state tournament in the Bay Area. For the past twelve years this tournament has produced an estimate of $500,000 + a year for our communities. Our motels are packed, restaurants and grocery shops are full, along with several other businesses who reap the benefits of this event. Coos Bay and North Bend communities completely support this event and over the past thirteen years have earned a reputation as one of the best tournaments in Oregon.
