Marshfield’s girls (22-2) will enter the OSAA 4A State Basketball Playoffs as the No. 1 4A team in the state. That guarantees the Far West League champions will have a home playoff match to reach the final eight at Pacific University in Forest Grove, March 8-10. The OSAA Power Rankings froze Tuesday night, 10 p.m., Feb. 20, to set the stage for the playoff matchups. Hidden Valley (21-2) is No. 2, followed by Banks (22-2). Brookings-Harbor (14-10) is No. 13 and Douglas (13-10) No. 19. Marshfield’s boys are ranked No. 3. Banks (22-2) is No. 1, followed by defending state champion Seaside (18-5), and then the Pirates (18-6). North Bend (13-10) is No. 14, and Brookings-Harbor (12-12) No. 19.
