Henley capped a perfect prep softball season by winning the OSAA 4A Championship Saturday, 8-6, over Crook Co. at the OSU Sports Complex in Corvallis. The Hornets finish the 2017 season with a 30-0 record. Other winners Saturday were Marist Catholic over Dallas, 12-7, in the 5A championship, and North Medford took the 6A crown with an 11-3 win over Westview. The 3A title was won Friday by Rainier, 3-2, over Dayton, and th 2A/1A championship was won by North Douglas 3-1, over Pilot Rock/Nixyaawii.

La Grande downed Henley 8-5 in the championship game Saturday at the OSAA 5A baseball championships inside Volcanoes Stadium at Keizer. Churchill won the 5A crown, 5-1, over Crater, and the 6A title went to Clackamas 5-1, over West Linn. On Friday, St. Mary’s of Medford won the 3A championship, 5-3, over Glide, and Knappa got the 2A/1A game 10-9 over Reedsport.
