It will be Henley vs. Crook Co. in the 4A OSAA Softball Championship Saturday at the OSU Softball Complex in Corvallis. The top-ranked unbeaten Hornets got by La Grande 1-0 Tuesday in one of the two semi-final games. The Cowgirls prevailed 3-2 over Gladstone in 12 innings in the other semi-final.

La Grande will face Henley in the Championship game of the OSAA 4A State Baseball playoffs Saturday, June 3, at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer. The Hornets beat Philomath 13-0 in a semi final game Tuesday, while La Grande downed Astoria 7-2. Reedsport advanced to the 2A/1A finals against Knappa after the Braves beat Dufur/Wasco Co. 7-4.
