North Bend’s band, under the direction of Amber Yester, placed first at the OSAA State Band Championships at Oregon State University, Corvallis Wednesday. The Bulldogs amassed 317-points to second place St. Helens with 308, Gladstone with 302, Henley 288, and Scappoose 272. The State Band Championships continue Thursday with orchestra competition.
