OSP report
Various entries on the Oregon State Police logs. June 12, 1:08 a.m., Newmark St. & Sherman Ave., NB, 54-year old Leslie Annette McGill, Lebanon, stopped for “traffic violation of white light to the rear. Driver was found to be Driving while suspended.” McGill also had two misdemeanor warrants for her arrest out of Linn Co. Cited for Failure to Carry Operator’s License, DWS-Violation and warned for Failure to Carry Proof of Financial Responsibility, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Prohibited Lighting and Fail to Carry Registration Card. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Impound
A blue Ford XPL was impounded and towed June 12, 5:47 p.m., Hwy. 101, mp 239, NB, following “a traffic violation. According to an OSP report, Driver was found to be Driving while suspended and Uninsured.” Forty-five year old Monty Jones, Coos Bay, cited for DWS, Driving Uninsured, and warned for Fail to Carry Operator’s license, Unsignaled lane change, Fail to transfer title and Fail to change address on ID card.

MVA
The driver of a blue Dodge Dakota that was involved in a single vehicle accident on Hwy. 38, mp 8, June 12, 11:24 p.m., allegedly ran from the accident scene into the woods leaving two injured passengers behind. According to an OSP report, “the roadway evidence indicated that the vehicle was traveling westbound when it left the lane of travel and traveled off of the westbound shoulder. The vehicle then impacted a large diameter tree at a high rate of speed.” The two occupants of the vehicle, 27-year old Brighton William Hall, Roseburg, and 40-year old Damien Albert Ritter, Salem, were transported to Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport where they were treated for minor injuries. “Both of the subjects claim that the driver of the vehicle exited the vehicle after the crash and ran into the nearby woods. One of the subjects was lodged in the Reedsport Jail at the request of his Parole Officer. The investigation is ongoing.”

Traffic Crimes
A 32-year old Coos Bay male was cited with various traffic offenses following a vehicle stop on Hwy. 101, mp 239, NB, June 13, 1:09 a.m. According to an OSP report, Joseph Andrews, “was found to be driving while suspended – misdemeanor and uninsured. Driver was placed in custody and transported to CCJ. The driver was criminally cited for DWS-M, Fail to Carry and Present, and cited for Driving Uninsured and warned for fail to renew registration, fail to drive in lane, and an orange Chevrolet SNT was impounded.
