Oregon State catcher Logan Ice has been named the Pac-12 Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year and second baseman Nick Madrigal was named its Freshman of the Year when season awards were announced. Ice, Madrigal, and sophomores KJ Harrison and Christian Donahue were all named All-Pac-12 First Team, while freshman Bryce Fehmel was named honorable mention. The Pac-12’s 11 coaches voted on the honors; they were not allowed to vote for their own players. Madrigal and Ice were also named to the Pac-12’s All-Defensive Team.

Two Oregon players were named to the Pac-12 All-Conference First Team in a vote of the league’s coaches, while three more claimed honorable mention honors. Starting pitcher Cole Irvin and closer Stephen Nogosek were named to the first team, while outfielders A.J. Balta, Jake Bennet and Austin Grebeck were honorable mention picks.
