Oregon wins at home, Oregon State falls on the road in a couple of Pac-12 football games Saturday. The Beavers dropped a 42-16 decision at Utah in Salt Lake City and the Ducks won 45-27 over visiting Stanford at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. Oregon (2-0, 4-1) plays at Arizona Saturday night, Oct. 8, 6p, Pac-12 Networks. OSU (1-1, 3-2) plays at Stanford Saturday, 8p, ESPN.

Oregon’s volleyball team swept the two visiting Arizona schools in Pac-12 volleyball. On Friday the Ducks won 3-0 at Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, and then on Sunday, the UO followed with a 3-0 win over Arizona. Oregon (4-0, 10-2) travels to Washington State Friday, Oct. 7, 7p to play the Cougars on Pac-12 Oregon. Oregon State volleyball fell at home to both the Desert Schools. On Friday, Arizona won 3-0 at Gill Coliseum, Corvallis, and on Sunday, Arizona State won 3-2. The Beavers (1-3, 6-8) travel to Washington to play the Huskies on Friday, Oct. 7, 8p, Pac-12 Networks.

Oregon’s women lost to visiting USC 4-0 in a Pac-12 soccer match at Eugene Sunday. The Ducks (1-2-2, 3-4-4) are scheduled to play at Utah on Thursday, Oct. 6, 5:30p, Pac-12 Networks. Oregon State’s women fell at home Sunday to visiting UCLA 5-0. The Beavers (0-3-3, 4-5-2) are scheduled to play at Colorado, Boulder, CO, Thursday, 2p, Pac-12 Networks.

Oregon State’s women cross-country team ran at the Charles Bowles Invitational at Salem Saturday and placed third out of 17 teams. Seattle University won the meet. Freshman Jamie Hamlin led the Beavers in 14th (18:33.8) over the 5K course. OSU next runs at the Nuttycombe Invitational at Madison, WI, Friday, Oct. 14.
