CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women’s volleyball team announced its 2022 schedule on Friday, a slate that includes 13 matches at Gill Coliseum. The Beavers, in their seventh season under head coach Mark Barnard, open their slate when competing in the Rose City Showdown in Portland Aug. 26 and 27. The season opener comes against Long Beach State on the campus of Portland State. The Beavers also take on the Vikings during the short trek North. OSU’s first trip out of state comes Sept. 2 and 3 when the Beavers take on Alabama, Central Arkansas and host Houston in the Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup. Oregon State’s home opener comes Sept. 9 and 10 when hosting the Asics Invitational. The Beavers are set to take on Utah State, Portland and North Texas in the two-day event. The Beavers’ final non-conference matches of the season come Sept. 16 and 17 at the Green Wave Invitational in New Orleans. OSU will play a pair of matches, first versus LSU and then against host Tulane. Pac-12 Conference play opens Sept. 21 when the Beavers host Oregon at Gill Coliseum. The match will air live on Pac-12 Oregon. The televised match is the first of 11 for OSU this season.
