Overdue Subjects Lane Co., Dec. 14

Lane Co. SO release – UPDATE, Dec. 13, 11:17 a.m. – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office has now received information that there may also be a 6 year old child in the vehicle along with the four overdue subjects reported this morning. Authorities are searching for 37 year old Jobee Baumgardner, 33 year old Renell Baumgardner, 14 year old Caleb Baumgardner, 6 year old Colton Baumgardner, and 14 year old Thomas Blanton. The group left the Springfield area yesterday at about 10:30am to go play in the snow. They planned to return by 8:00pm. They advised that they would likely go to the area of HooDoo (near Santiam Pass on Hwy. 20) or Salt Creek Sno Park (near Willamette Pass on Hwy. 58). The group is believed to be traveling in a blue/gray 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup bearing OR Plate #475KVB. They are believed to have experience in the snow but were likely not intending to stay overnight. Searchers are working with cellular providers to try and narrow the search area.
