Oregon’s women were 3rd and the Duck men 4th at the Pac-12 Cross-Country Championships, Friday, Riverside, CA. Oregon State’s women were sixth. Colorado took first in the 6K race. Bailey Hertenstein, a junior for Colorado, was the individual champion in 19:11.3. Oregon senior Izzy Thornton-Bott was fourth (19:27.4) and Oregon State junior Grace Fetherstonhaugh ninth (19:38.2). The men’s 8K race was won by Stanford (22) with Colorado (61) second. Oregon had 94-points. Individual champion was sophomore Charles Hicks of Stanford (22:30.9). Oregon senior Aaron Bienenfeld was second (22:37.2). The NCAA West Regional Championships will be held Nov. 11th, Tacoma, WA.

Oregon won its Pac-12 football game at California, Berkeley, CA, Saturday, 42-24. The Ducks (5-0, 7-1) are scheduled to play at Colorado, Boulder, CO, Saturday, Nov. 5, 12:30 p.m., FS1. Oregon State had a bye. The Beavers (3-2, 6-2) are scheduled to play at Washington, Husky Stadium, Seattle, Friday, Nov. 4, 7:30 p.m., ESPN2.

It was a Desert Sweep for Oregon volleyball in Pac-12 play. The Ducks beat Arizona Friday 3-1 at Tucson, AZ, and then downed Arizona State 3-0 Sunday at Tempe, AZ. Oregon (9-3, 15-5) hosts Washington Friday, 6 p.m., Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene. Oregon State lost both matches in the Desert. The Beavers lost Friday 3-1 at Arizona State, and then Sunday 3-2 at Arizona. OSU (2-10, 7-15) is scheduled to host Washington State Friday, Nov. 4, Gill Coliseum, Corvallis, 6 p.m.

Oregon’s women fell 4-1 in a Pac-12 soccer match Sunday to Arizona at Tucson, AZ. The Ducks (2-6-2, 4-8-6) end the regular season by hosting Oregon State Friday, 7 p.m., Pac-12 Oregon. Oregon State beat Arizona State 3-1 at Tempe, AZ, Sunday. The Beavers (1-8-1, 5-10-3) travel to play Oregon Friday, 7 p.m., Pac-12 Oregon. Oregon State’s men tied California 1-1 at Berkely, CA Sunday. The Beavers (2-1-4, 6-3-5) host San Diego State Thursday, Nov. 3, Pac-12 Networks.
