Deion Sanders brings his Colorado Buffalos to play Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks. Both won their third straight games at home Saturday. The Buffs needed two overtimes to beat back in-state rival Colorado State 43-35 at Boulder, CO, while the Ducks roughed up visiting Hawaii 55-10. Forty-miles north on Hwy. 99W, Oregon State joined the 3-0 crowd with a 26-9 win over visiting San Diego State at Reser Stadium, Corvallis. The Beavers will have their Pac-12 opener Saturday, Sept. 23, at Pullman, WA against another 3-0 team the Washington State Cougars, 4 p.m., Fox Sports.

Oregon volleyball’s trip back East was a good one. On Thursday the Ducks played in the Panther Challenger at Pittsburgh, PA and beat No. 9 Pittsburgh 3-2. On Friday, Oregon played James Madison and won 3-2. Sunday, the Ducks took on Marquette at Milwaukee, WI and won 3-0. Oregon (10-1) opens Pac-12 play by hosting Oregon State, Friday, Sept. 22, 7 p.m., Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, Pac-12 Network. Oregon State lost at Portland State 3-1 Saturday. The Beavers (5-5) head to Eugene on Saturday.

Oregon State beat Stanford 2-1 in Pac-12 men’s soccer Sunday at Stanford, CA. The Beavers (1-0-1, 4-2-1) next host Loyola Marymount on Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m., at Corvallis in a non-league match. OSU’s women tied visiting Montana 0-0 Sunday at Corvallis. Oregon State (3-2-3) has a Pac-12 match at Arizona State, Tempe, AZ, Friday, Sept. 22, ASU Live Stream.
