Oregon opened the 2021 collegiate volleyball season with a sweep at its own Oregon Invitational Friday and Saturday, Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene. The Ducks won all of its matches against Portland State, Santa Clara and San Jose State by identical 3-0 scores. Oregon (3-0) is scheduled to play at Rice in Houston, TX Thursday, 4 p.m. Oregon State opened the season with a split at Norman, OK. The Beavers beat Oklahoma 3-2 Friday, but fell 1-3 to Houston on Saturday. OSU (1-1) is scheduled to play LSU at University Park, PA on Friday, 2 p.m.
