Oregon’s women were fourth and Oregon State seventh at the NCAA West Regional Cross Country Championships Friday at Colfax, WA. Stanford won the meet with Washington second and Boise State third. Former Oregon prep runner Ella Donaghu, a junior at Stanford, won the 6K race in 19:50.8. Sophomore Taylor Chiotti led the Ducks with a 13th place finish 20:15.9, and junior Lexi Reed led OSU in 28th place, 20:37.1. The University of Portland won the men’s 10K race with Stanford second and Oregon third. Andrew Jordan, a senior at Washington, won in 29:43.3. Junior Jackson Mestler led the Ducks with a sixth place finish in 29:58.5. Up next is the NCAA Championships Nov. 23 at Terre Haute, IN.
