PEEPs are Professionals, Educators, and Educator Parents working together to promote positive early learning experiences for the young children in our community!  PEEPs can be childcare providers, early childhood teachers, parents/guardians, foster parents, school staff, pediatricians, or anyone in the community who works with children ages 0-8 (pre-natal to third grade). All PEEPs are invited to attend a FREE kick-off event for The PEEPs Project on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 2 – 4 pm at Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Family Center, 2040 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay. The first 100 PEEPs will receive a free box of Peeps® marshmallow candy, as well as a swag bag filled with goodies and resources and all attendees will have a chance to win a door prize!  There will be representatives from CARE Connections, South Coast Regional Early Learning Hub, 211, Pathways to Positive Parenting, Healthy Families Oregon, Oregon Association for the Education Young Children, and other local organizations who would like to share the great work that they are already doing for the young children in our community.  Due to limited capacity, and the focus of the event being for adults only, childcare for this event will not be provided. For more information about The PEEPs Project, please add yourself to the Facebook group called “The PEEPs Project.”  To register for this event or if you have questions, please contact Danaye Gonzalez, CARE Connections Program Manager, at (541) 888-7957.  We hope that you will be one of our PEEPs and join us!
