The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) is looking to fill vacancies for the 2022-2024 Advisory Body term on its Groundfish (bottomfish) Advisory Subpanel, including one for an Oregon Charter representative and one for a Sport Fisheries At Large representative, traditionally held by an Oregon recreational angler. To ensure consideration, nominations should be received via the Council’s online Advisory Body Nomination Form no later than 5 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by other individuals or organizations. Current members may be reappointed but must be re-nominated. Individuals may apply for more than one advisory body seat, but please use a separate form for each nomination. The Council is scheduled to review the nominations and fill positions during the November 2021 Council meeting. Appointments will be effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024. To submit a nomination and supporting documents, please fill out the Council’s online Advisory Body Nomination Form. The completed form will provide contact information and a summary of the nominee’s qualifications for a particular position.
