News release from Frontier for Saturday, Jan. 28. Frontier landline customers in the Lakeside area may be experiencing a problem preventing them from being able to reach 911. Frontier is aware of the problem and are researching the outage. If you have a cell phone, you should still be able to reach 911. If you cannot, Lakeside Fire personnel are at the fire hall and can relay information to your dispatch center. Frontier is working to reroute calls so that you can reach help. Again, if you have a cell phone, you should be able to reach 911. Update Sunday, Jan. 29. Frontier has located and repaired the previous issue. All landline customers in the Lakeside area have been restored with service, including 911.
