There is a pilot Neighborhood Watch meeting scheduled for August 11, 2015 at the Dolphin Players’ Theatre located at 580 Newmark Avenue. The meeting will be at 6:00 pm and will last approximately an hour. Sgt. Mike Shaffer and Officer Tom Lindahl with the Coos Bay Police Department will be in attendance to answer questions, outline what a Neighborhood Watch does, and how citizens might go about starting a program for their neighborhood.
