OSP release – On September 2, 2020 Dustin McGrorty entered a guilty plea in Jackson County Circuit Court and was sentenced to 2 year Bench Probation; 5 year suspension of hunting, fishing and trapping; 80 hours of community service; Obey all laws; Forfeiture of weapon; Forfeiture of hunting gear; Not possess firearms during pendency of probation; Restitution/compensatory fine of $8,420 to ODFW; Part of his probation also includes No advising or guiding in hunting, fishing or trapping practices, but defendant is permitted to travel on hunting, fishing and trapping trips and vacations provided that he not actively participate in or advise others in hunting, fishing, or trapping on the trips. Defendant may not hike with others that are hunting, fishing or trapping; drop off or pick up others that are hunting, fishing or trapping; or pack game from kill location. Defendant is permitted to remain at camp on hunting, fishing or trapping trips.
