It is that time of the year when political candidates and supporters of particular sides of issues are putting out signs. Please be advised that this signage is not permitted in the City of Coos Bay right-of-way. This signage may only be placed on private property, and they must not be placed so as to create an impediment to driver vision of approaching vehicles. Signs placed in the City right-of-way will be removed by City workers and stored at the City maintenance shops located at 1295 S. Broadway in Coos Bay. Owners of the signs may pick them up at the City maintenance shops. To ensure staff is available to assist, please call Operations Superintendent Jon Eck at 541-297-3810 to arrange a time to stop by and pick up the signs.
