Two people died and a third person was seriously injured in a Friday night single vehicle traffic crash on Poodle Creek Road north of Noti in Lane County. Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash. On February 21, 2014 at approximately 11:00 p.m., a Kia Sephia four-door driven by RAYMOND SCHUYLIER WYMAN, age 23, was southbound on Poodle Creek Road near milepost 4 when it traveled off the roadway, rolled multiple times and struck several trees. The car’s three occupants were ejected as the car came to rest off the highway. The 41-year old male rear passenger, CHRISTOPHER SEAN MANLEY from Veneta, was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not using safety restraints. WYMAN and his 19-year old girlfriend, JESSICA MARIE PARKER, both from Noti, were transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. WYMAN, who was not using safety restraints, died at the hospital. PARKER, who was using safety restraints, is being treated for serious injuries. OSP troopers from the Springfield Area Command office are continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash. Alcohol is a possible contributing factor.
