A 79-year old Port Orford woman, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease, was found Monday, June 22, after missing for four-days on the South Oregon Coast. Joyce Huffman was located about a quarter-mile from her home by search and rescue personnel. She was found in a gorse patch and although being dehydrated and hypothermic, was conscience and alert. She was transported to Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach. It’s reportedly the fourth time she wandered away from her residence and got lost in the nearby woods.
