A 38-year old male was arrested Tuesday, April 9 for Failing to Appear in a Lincoln Co. Court at Newport on an Animal Abuse charge. Gary Alan Lane Gobin allegedly poured hot coffee on the dog “Atlas” Jan. 14th causing a severe burn . An arrest warrant was issued for Gobin and Newport PD took him into custody The Lincoln Co. Animal Shelter is seeking $950.50 in restitution to pay for Veterinary charges.
