News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On August 8th, 2015, at approximately 7:13pm Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Gautney was dispatched to the Siletz Tribal Pow Wow event on a report that a male subject was approached by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend and a verbal confrontation ensued. Deputy Gautney made contact with the caller and determined no crime had been committed at that time. At approximately 8:19pm deputies were dispatched to an assault involving the same caller in the Takelma Ct. apartment complex in Siletz. The investigation revealed the adult male victim had returned to his home when his ex-girlfriend, 23 year old Ashley Regalado of Siletz, showed up with her new boyfriend, 25 year old Johnathan Harmon of Siletz. Harmon and Regalado confronted the victim which resulted in a physical fight between them and the victim. The victim was able to fight back and both suspects left the scene. The victim received non-life threatening injuries which did not require immediate medical attention. Harmon received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital where he was treated and released. Harmon and Regalado were arrested and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on one count of Assault in the third degree, a class C Felony. Their bail was set at $50,000 each. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Toledo Police Department, PacWest Ambulance and the Siletz Fire Department.
