An electrical power outage hit the Bay Area Wednesday afternoon, April 13, and lasted about 45-minutes. Crews from Pacific Power responded to the outage according to a taped message on the utility’s alert line. Power was also off in the Powers area. About 19,000 Pacific Power customers were impacted by the outage. As of Thursday morning, that number had slid to a little less than 6,800. The cause of the outage is still being investigated.
