Rob Pope, from Liverpool, England, won the 38th Annual Prefontaine Memorial 10K Run in Coos Bay Saturday, bettering a field of more than 700 runners. The 38-year old Pope was timed in 33:53, while North Bend graduate Michael Brown took second in 34:18, and Marshfield grad Sawyer Heckard placed third in 34:30. Twenty-two year old Sierra Brown was the top female in 36:16.
