North Bend’s baseball team opened the 2021 prep season with a 10-0 win over visiting Creswell, Friday, Clyde Allen Field, North Bend. The Bulldogs (1-0) are scheduled to play at Willamette, Eugene, Thursday, April 22. Marshfield got a District 4 split at Junction City Friday. The Pirates won the opener 11-10 but lost the nightcap after the top of the fifth 9-5 as the game was called due to darkness. Marshfield (2-1) is scheduled to play at Siuslaw, Florence, Tuesday.
