It turned out to be a pitching contest between Marshfield and North Bend Thursday in a non-counting baseball game at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend. The Pirates pushed across runs in the sixth and seventh to win 2-0, but both teams went with two pitchers each and each team had more than 13 strike outs. The two teams will play again on Monday, 4:30 p.m., at MHS.
