Not a good weekend for Marshfield basketball teams on long road trips. Friday, the Pirate boys fell at Seaside 58-38. The Pirates (1-2) host Sisters on Thursday night, 8:30 p.m., in the final game of the first day of the South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament at MHS. Marshfield’s girls lost Saturday afternoon at Hidden Valley 55-29. The Lady Pirates (0-3) host Brookings-Harbor Tuesday, 5:45 p.m. North Bend’s girls (0-2) play at Thurston Monday, 5:15 p.m., while the Bulldog boys (1-1) get the Colts at 6:45 p.m.
