The first boys & girls’ prep basketball coach’s polls have been released for the 2019/20 season. Marshfield is ranked No 10 in the boys’ 4A Poll. Defending champion Banks is the preseason No. 1. Coquille is ranked No. 10 in the 2A Poll. No other South Coast teams made the lists. In the girl’s polls, Brookings-Harbor is No. 3 in the 3A and Coquille is No. 2 in the 2A.
