Prep girls’ basketball scores from Thursday, Feb. 15: 4A – Marshfield clinched the District 4 League championship with a 44-26 win at home over visiting Cottage Grove. The Lady Pirates (6-2, 14-10) will be the No. 1 seed into the upcoming playoffs. North Bend beat visiting Marist Catholic 44-36. The Bulldogs (3-4, 14-9) are currently third in League behind the Spartans (4-3, 10-10) and have one more game at Junction City, Friday. Prep boys’ basketball scores from Thursday, Feb. 15: 4A – Marshfield beat visiting Cottage Grove 74-37 in a District 4 final. The Pirates (4-4, 13-10) take third place and will wait for the OSAA freeze on Tuesday for playoff matchups. North Bend lost to Marist Catholic (6-1, 18-2) 57-39. The Bulldogs (1-6, 7-16) play at Junction City (6-1, 18-2) Friday.
