North Bend dropped its second straight 5A Special District 2 – North league football game at home Friday night to visiting Thurston 43-17. The Bulldogs (0-1, 3-2) plays at Springfield Thursday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m. Marshfield beat visiting Ontario 44-38 in a non-conference 4A game at Pete Susick Stadium in Coos Bay Saturday night. The Pirates (3-2, 1-0) return to District 4 League play Friday at home to Junction City.
