Both Marshfield and North Bend won their District 4 softball league openers Tuesday. The Lady Pirates played Junction City at Southwestern Oregon and won 8-6, while North Bend traveled to Eugene and beat Marist Catholic 17-10. Friday, Marshfield (1-0, 9-2) is at Cottage Grove, and Junction City visits North Bend (1-0, 4-7).
