Marshfield opened the Newport Spring Break Invitational Softball Tournament with a 6-3 (6) win over Toledo, but as the rain and wind continued on the turf field, Astoria downed the Lady Pirates 21-1 (4) in the second game. Astoria opened the day with a 24-3 (3) win over Newport.
