Marshfield’s softball team swept visiting Siuslaw 14-5 & 12-2 (5) in a District 4 prep softball doubleheader at Coos Head Field in Coos Bay Friday. The Lady Pirates (9-3) are scheduled to play at Cottage Grove Tuesday, May 11. North Bend split with Thurston at Springfield Saturday. Bulldogs won the opener 5-3 but dropped the second game 13-10. North Bend (4-5) is scheduled to play at Sweet Home on Wednesday, May 12.
