Marshfield’s boys ended the 2019 prep soccer 4A District season with a 4-0 win at home over visiting Elmira Thursday night at Pete Susick Stadium in Coos Bay. The Pirates (4-4, 8-5) finish in third place behind Marist Catholic (8-0, 12-0-1) and Cottage Grove (5-3, 8-5). North Bend’s boys ended the 2019 5A Midwestern League season with a 7-1 loss at Churchill in Eugene Thursday night. The Bulldogs (0-5-3, 2-7-4) finish behind league champion Ashland (5-0-2, 8-2-3). North Bend’s girls also ended the season with a 4-0 loss at Churchill. The Bulldogs (3-4-1, 7-5-1) finish sixth behind league champion Churchill (6-1, 7-5-1). Marshfield’s girls lost their finale 1-0 at Elmira Thursday night. The Pirates (1-6-1, 1-11-2) finish fourth behind league champion Marist Catholic (8-0, 12-0-2).
